Grand Haven, Michigan

Grand Haven is a small town about 2.5 hours away, located on lovely Lake Michigan. This was the last weekend before Daddy starts to take painful call nights. So, it was time to pack up the Bear and head west.

Ready for the trip.

We stayed at the "Courtesy Inn." This place is straight out of No Country for Old Men. It's what happens when you make last minute reservations.

A little lunch at an outdoor cafe. She wanted to sit at the table.

Then we took a walk down the boardwalk. Annabel likes lighthouses.

Then we took her to the beach. We stayed just long enough to take a few pictures and get a lot of sand in our hair--despite the sun, it was quite windy. Annabel had a lot of sunblock on, so no chance of tan lines in her new two-piece.

Then we bought her some new head apparel.

Enjoying a little bench time with daddy.

Time to come home.
