Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving was a small, but lively affair. Grandma Nicki, Uncle Javed, and cousin Matthew were in attendance. This was our first holiday-hosted affair. The turkey was a successful adventure. Annabel had a little cold.

Starting off with a little blunt dissection. It's all about getting those herbs and sauce in between the skin and the meat! Check out the recipe: http://howtocookathanksgivingturkey.com/

A little pepper. But where are the legs and wings? This turkey was lacking mobility....

The final product.

Bear was somewhat skeptical.

Then it was time for some gift exchanging. Bear said, "Timeo Fouches et dona ferentis."
But she enjoyed opening them up all the same.

Uncle Javed was jealous!

Only imagination can bring a castle and a rocket into close proximity.

The day concluded with a little play-doh...

...and a nice story.
